Small Animal Science
Dogs, Cats and Rabbits Oh My! Small animal science will provide students with introductory knowledge in companion animals and some veterinary science. Students will learn about common companion animals and their anatomy. They will participate in hands-on labs to learn different techniques and operations used in a veterinary hospital setting. This could include animal handling techniques, lab procedures and common ways of treating a companion animal.

Weekly Schedule
March 4th - March 8th
Monday:
- Work time for Board Games ​
- Test Your board game if you think it is done.

Tuesday:
6th hour:
- Test your board game to make sure it actually works and doesn't need further instructions.
7th Hour:
- Animal behavior notes and explanation of behaviors assignment.
​
Wednesday:
Work Time for Animal Behaviors assignment:
- Students can work alone or with a partner. They will be assigned an animal and create a presentation around their behaviors when they demonstrate happy, mad, sad and nervous behaviors.

Thursday:
No Class - Noon Dismissal
